SafarMate Privacy Policy
This policy describes the planned handling of information in SafarMate, a Muslim travel companion developed by MBF TECH SERVICES.

1. Scope and accounts
SafarMate is designed as a travel-first app with prayer-aware and location-based features. The current design does not require mandatory account creation. If accounts or cloud synchronisation are added later, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
2. Location information
Location may be used to calculate relevant prayer information, show nearby mosques, halal places and other travel locations, provide directions and display local weather. The app may also allow a location to be selected manually. Location access can be disabled through Android settings, although location-based features may then be limited.
3. Device permissions
Depending on the final feature set, SafarMate may request location and notification permissions. Notifications may be used for prayer or travel reminders selected by the user. The final permission list will be published here before release.
4. Maps, weather and other providers
SafarMate may send a location or search request to mapping, place-search, weather, currency or prayer-time service providers so the requested information can be returned. The final provider and SDK list will be added before public release. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Storage and retention
Preferences, saved places and reminders may be stored locally on the device. Local data can normally be removed by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. Information submitted directly to support is retained only as reasonably needed to answer the request or meet legal obligations.
6. Your choices and deletion
You can manage Android permissions, disable notifications, clear app storage or uninstall SafarMate. For information sent directly to MBF TECH SERVICES, follow the Data Deletion instructions.
7. Sale of personal information
MBF TECH SERVICES does not sell personal information submitted through SafarMate or its support channels.
8. Children’s privacy
SafarMate is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to us.
